The health benefits of yoga are well-known and extensive. Yoga not only increases flexibility and builds muscle, but it also can do the following when practiced regularly: lower blood pressure, reduce stress, improve bone health, increase blood flow, improve sleep, balance, and focus, among many additional benefits. Yoga is great for people of all shapes and sizes, fitness levels and ages. The one thing that you have in common is the desire to improve yourself, your physical and mental health and perhaps try something new to uplift you and improve your life!
I encourage you to honor your body & practice where you're at that day/moment! Some days we touch our toes and some days we don't-- that's OK!
